My poor baby...
Thursday was Ben's birthday! Yay! But...he also got into a little accident with his motorcycle. His first and hopefully his last. He wasn't hit by a car or anything, he just had some trouble with it in the rain and when he tried to rev the bike up and get it going at a light (because it was stalled), it lurched and threw him over the handlebars. He had scraped elbows and knees...his pride was a bit scraped as well, but other than that he's fine. Actually, the bike is in worse shape.

Good golly! Did he have to go the hospital or were the scrapes not that bad? Is the bike repairable? It's a good thing MI has helmet laws!
yes, yes, yes...no, he didn't have to go to the hospital and the bike is repairable and THANK GOD there are helmet laws!! he probably would have had a concussion otherwise, because he did break the windshield on his helmet.
And there are still those fighting the laws! Down here in KY there are no helmet laws and I cringe everytime I see someone on a bike with a BALD HEAD no less. Glad he's OK.
