Last tuesday, my mom and sister joined me for a birthday celebration (for me and mom) for a viewing of the broadway musical, Mamma Mia!. Oh, man, can I just say, "Fun!!" It's the story of a girl who's searching for her real father before she ties the knot...her mother raised her alone and has never told her the story of her father and who he truly is. The daughter discovers her mom's diary and figures out that there may be three guys that could be her dad. She invites all three "possible" dads and then...well, then the story unfolds with the help of Abba music and hilarious situations. It's a riot and the music is so catchy! If you've seen the musical, then you know...but if you haven't, then you can catch the movie version that's hitting theater's this summer! Erica and I just saw a preview for it last night when we went to a late-night movie...and we were cheering and dancing in the seats! The movie version looks just as good at the stage version and features one of my old-time favorites, Meryl Streep, as the mom! Musical Theatre Review: A
