I'm watching "Anderson Cooper 360" on CNN. He's doing an interview with Angelina Jolie and her mission with refugees in Africa and abroad...in that, he's also featuring the stories of these refugees. Children starving, dying...children my kids' age. It's a crisis. And here's this woman, actress, who is not necessarily high-up in my book, character-wise...caring so much. Reminds me of what I read in James just last night: "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted from the world" (1:27). Man, takes me down a notch. Where am I in this verse? I have no clue where Angelina's heart is with God, but caring is where God's heart is.
