We spent part of the week working on a speed boat that some friends just up and gave us...mainly because it needed alot of work. New seats, engine/motor work, new flooring. We redid the front seats (in the bow), cleaned it out, and purchased two new seats to go behind the steering wheel. And, of course, Ben fixed the motor. He's good like that. So far, we've spent a total of about $130. Not bad for a boat that needed a total workover.
The rest of the week we played...Kalamazoo Air Zoo, Battle Creek Bombers baseball game, 4th of July BBQ with good friends (where we caught a glimpse of a hot-air balloon literally right above their house), and Ratatouille and pizza on Saturday to end up the week. It was a good stay-at-home vacation. Hopefully, next year's vacay we can take our boat out for some tubing!

we have an old boat too! we haven't used in for a while because there is a motor issue! Maybe Ben could help Chris figure it out.
I'm glad you had a great time on your at-home vacation! I love those kind...especially if we can farm out the kids for a night and have the house to ourselves! :)
